When the latest murder is that of a schoolgirl Park befriended during the investigation, out of horror, disgust, and seeing red, he's out for Hyeon-gyu's blood and attacks and attempts to shoot in. Semen is found at one of the murders, and the US takes the DNA to be processed and tested with Hyeon-gyu. Park and Seo try to question Baek in a chase, but Beak is killed by an oncoming train when trying to run. Baek swings a board into Cho's leg, piercing it with a rusty nail and infecting Cho with tetanus, leading to his leg needing amputation. Cho beats him in a fit of rage, leaving him barred out of the room. When they fail to save another woman who's raped and killed, they find peach pieces in her digestive tract, which, along with other leads, lead to factory man Park Hyeon-gyu.
